OFI Australia will be walking for orangutans in this year’s Sun-Herald City2Surf on Sunday 14 August! This is a great family friendly event for all ages and abilities and it will help us raise vital funds for our conservation efforts in Borneo. It will be our biggest NSW fundraiser to date – so please show your support and help us make it a huge success!
Entries are now open; be sure to enter by 14 June to take advantage of early bird discounts! Register via http://city2surf.com.au/
If you’d like to walk with OFI Australia you can register as part of our team. When you select your category (adult, child etc.) you will be prompted to join a team. Simply click the ‘join a team’ button and search for Orangutan Foundation International Australia and click ‘join’.
Complete your entrant details (name, address etc.) and select the ‘Back of the Pack – Orange Start’ group – this group is for walkers, fun groups, pushed wheelchairs and strollers and begins at 9.30am. We will be in touch with you to arrange a meeting point closer to the event.
Skip through the fundraising section and pay for your registration.
Once you have completed your registration payment and have received confirmation of your entry, you will be prompted to fundraise. Click ‘Fundraise’ and you will be redirected to https://www.everydayhero.com/au/ to create your very own fundraising page. Make sure you select Orangutan Foundation International Australia as your charity, and if you need some inspiration check out Sarah’s page! https://city2surf2016.everydayhero.com/au/sarah-ofi-australia
Once you have set up your fundraising page you can join the ‘Orangutan Foundation International Australia’ team member page to connect with other OFI Australia supporters https://city2surf2016.everydayhero.com/au/orangutan-foundation-international-Australia
You are then ready to share your page and start fundraising!
