Return and Earn in NSW raises money for Orangutan Foundation International Australia through recycling drink containers
Return and Earn NSW is a fantastic initiative available to everyone in New South Wales to increase recycling efforts to help keep our environment litter free.
You can help us AND help the planet at the same time simply by recycling drink containers! Whether you are an individual, community group, school or business, Return & Earn is a great way to help the environment while raising funds to save orangutans!
Maybe you could ask your friends and people at your workplace, school or university to help you collect containers.
You can now donate your 10c refund/s to Orangutan Foundation International Australia from any Return And Earn machines in New South Wales located near you, using the Return and Earn app.
And it’s as easy as 1,2,3 …
- Download the Return and Earn app (available from your App store or Google Play store)
- Look us up under the “Charities” menu and press “Set as payout”
- Scan the app, return containers and press “TRANSFER” on the RVM screen when finished!
100% of the refunds will be transferred to our organisation.
How does it work?
- Collect eligible bottles & cans
- Take your containers to a return point in NSW
- Earn a refund and make a donation to us via the downloaded app
Which containers are eligible?
Most drink bottles and cans are eligible for a refund. Cans (e.g. soft drink), bottles, cartons and juice boxes or poppers. Most containers between 150ml and 3 litres are accepted. However they must still be in good condition, be empty and have the label attached, If you’re not sure, look for the 10c label on the container to see if it is eligible.
