On this very special escorted eco tour, led by OFI Australia’s Founder and President, Kobe Steele, OAM, you will enjoy a very personal experience in the Borneo wilderness and see wild orangutans in their natural environment, as we spend time along the river ways, walking through the jungle and vsiiting OFI’s world famous Camp Leakey.

As part of this extraordinary trip, you will have the privilege of visiting OFI’s Orangutan Care Centre, normally closed to the general public, where orphaned ex-captive orangutans are cared for, nursed back to health, and taught everything they will need to know to one day thrive in the wild. This is a rare and unique chance to see OFI’s rehabilitation and conservation work behind the scenes!

This is a not-for-profit trip with all proceeds going to help orangutans at the OFI Care Centre. Please note there are mandatory vaccinations and medical tests necessary so that you can visit the Care Centre, along with a strict COVID-19 protocol. This is for the safety of the orangutans.
