Become a Foster Parent to one of our gorgeous orphan orangutans

Currently at the OFI Orangutan Care Centre & Quarantine in Central Kalimantan, Borneo, there are over 260 displaced or orphaned orangutans. The OFI Care Centre is a vital part of the sometimes complicated plan to save this critically endangered species. Without the OFI Care Centre, these beautiful, gentle apes would be homeless and would have no chance of survival. Raising money to purchase and protect the orangutans’ rainforest home, goes part and parcel with the invaluable and life saving work being done in the Care Centre.

The Care Centre is a half-way house for orangutans, providing them with food, shelter and love along with the skills they will need when they are old enough to be released back into the wild.
