OFI Australia will be walking for orangutans in this year’s Bridge to Brisbane on Sunday 25 August! This is a great family friendly event for all ages and abilities and it will help us raise vital funds for our conservation efforts in Borneo. We are aiming to raise over $20,000 this year so we really hope you’ll join us to help make this happen!
Registration
Entries are now open, register via https://bridgetobrisbane.com.au/
The OFI Australia team will be walking in the 10km race – we would love you to join us but if you would prefer to run or do the shorter 5km course please feel free to!
Entry fees are as follows:
- Early bird entry: 31 March – 29 June 10km $52, 5km $42
- General entry: 30 June – 24 August: 10km $57, 5km $47
Getting your race bib:
You will need to attach your race bib to your shirt on the day of the event. There are two options to get your race kit (which includes your bib); by mail, or you can pick it up from the Race Office.
If you choose to have your race kit posted you will need to pay $8.95 postage. This option is only available until 4 August. After this date you will need to collect your kit from the Race Office.

Once you have registered for the event Kobe will be in touch to give you all the details on where and when to meet on the day.
Fundraising
Once you have registered you can set up an everyday hero page to start fundraising! Instructions on how to set up your fundrasing page can be found in the instruction guide.
Once your page is set up you can share your page and start fundraising!
What to wear
You can show your support for OFI Australia by wearing one of our t-shirts at the event! You can order t-shirts via our online shop or, if you prefer, you can purchase a t-shirt and we can give it to you on the day, please contact Kobe to arrange this. Otherwise we encourage you to wear anything orange!
