Holland beguiles and entices everyone with her positive outlook on life and effervescent personality. During her excursions to Forest School, she makes the most of every moment. Holland is an active and social individual among her enclosure mates Amelia, Doris, Proudfoot, and Royal. She is the glue that holds them all together.

You’ll often find her swinging and hanging with her friends, and she loves to explore far into the forest, climbing high into the trees. When Holland is up in a tree, she often becomes quite quiet and contemplative, observing the world around her. She always moves with clear intention. Her nest making skills continue to impress us. While Holland does have a roguish side with her caregivers, she’s always playful and kind with her orangutan friends.

Holland does take some time out of the forest to catch up on the latest happenings in the playground now and again. Here we see her displaying her artistic side, enjoying “writing” or “drawing” on the ground using a stick – who knew we had a budding artist among us? Once she has finished writing her forest essay, Holland decides to put theory into practice. An array of leaves and plants catch her eye, and she spends her time meticulously inspecting and tasting them. Holland remains incredibly affectionate, often seen calmly hugging her caregivers, and she still loves to hold their hands. Her head frequently pops up between the trees, radiating a happy smile. How could anyone not have her in their top five list?

Her dark hair blends seamlessly into the forest, and she can effortlessly transition from gracefully brachiating through trees to rolling around in the dirt without a care in the world! She isn’t self-conscious at all, always seeming to be ready to pose for the camera. Holland is a star in every sense of the word, and she lights up our world!
