A word from our President

It has been an exciting time for OFI Australia! Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters we have been able to continue our financial support for the OFI Care Centre and Quarantine to ensure the 330+ orangutans in our care continue to receive food, shelter, love and affection.

We have also contributed to the construction of Montana’s HaHa (which is almost complete!) and we have purchased more land to extend our Legacy Forest. I am also thrilled to announce our beautiful boy Faisal has moved into a new home within the Care Centre; you can read all about him in this issue.

Behind the scenes we have been busy working on our strategic plan, which will see us continue to work closely with OFI and Dr Birute Mary Galdikas to ensure our fundraising efforts are directed where they are needed most.

Thank you again to all of our wonderful supporters who have held events for OFI Australia to raise much needed funds to support our campaigns. We truly appreciate your support!!
